Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-10-10 · Version 1.0
These terms apply when you verify your identity with Hostly (HOSTLY SARL, Technopark, Boulevard Dammam, Bureau 315, 20000 Casablanca) at the request of a hospitality partner — usually the host or property manager of your stay (“your host”). By tapping “Get started” you accept them.
1. What the service does
You photograph your identity document and take a short selfie. We read the document, check that it looks genuine and compare it with your face, then send the result to your host so they can complete the check-in formalities required for your stay.
2. What we ask of you
- Use your own, genuine and valid identity document, and your own face.
- Photograph the physical document — not a copy, a printout or an image on a screen.
- Do not try to deceive or bypass the checks. Attempts to do so are recorded and reported to your host.
3. Automated decision and human review
Most verifications are decided automatically. When a check is uncertain, a person reviews your verification instead of the system deciding alone. If you disagree with a result, ask your host: they can request a human review.
4. Your data
Your document and selfie are used only for this verification and deleted on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains your rights.
5. Availability
We do our best to keep the service available and accurate, but a verification can occasionally fail for technical reasons (camera, connection, lighting). You can try again, or your host can check your identity another way. Your booking itself is between you and your host.
6. Questions
For anything about your stay or your verification, contact your host first — they have your verification reference. For questions about your data: legal@hostly.ma.
